Community & support

A small team, a real inbox, and honest answers.

TuneLoft doesn't run a chat server. We'd rather answer you properly than run a room we can't watch — so support goes through one address, and it's read by the people who build the app.

What's new

Release notes are published with each update, on the store the app came from — that way they're always the ones that match the version you have.

Questions we get often

Is TuneLoft an IPTV app?

It's a player, in the same sense as VLC or Kodi: it plays what you point it at. That can be your Plex libraries, a NAS over DLNA, files on your local network, or live streams you already have. We don't provide, host, resell or recommend any content.

Where do I find streams?

That isn't our role, and we don't point to any. TuneLoft is a bring-your-own-source player — you supply the sources, we supply the player.

How many devices does Plus cover?

Five — counting the devices you play on, each running TuneLoft signed into your account: your headset, your TV, and whatever else you watch on. Signing back in on a device you already use doesn't count again, so reinstalling costs you nothing. If you connect a sixth, nothing is kicked off behind your back: we show you the five and you pick the one to release. TuneLoft Companion, the free phone app, is not one of the five — it has no account to sign into and talks to your player over your own network, so put it on as many phones as you like.

Why is there no purchase inside the app?

Because of the five devices above. Plus belongs to your TuneLoft account, so you buy it once and every device you sign in on picks it up. A store purchase works the other way round: it belongs to the store account you bought it with — your Meta account on the headset, your Google account on the TV. Those are two different identities, and neither store tells us the email behind them, so we would have no way to see that the person unlocking Plus on the TV is the one who already paid on the headset. You'd be asked to pay again for the second device, and again for the third. Buying once here on the web is what keeps a single subscription covering all five.

Do my credentials go through your servers?

No. Your sources and credentials stay on your device. When the companion phone app sends a source to your headset or your TV, it travels over your own network — never through us.

I found a bug, or something is missing.

Quickest route: report it straight from the phone app — TuneLoft Companion, Settings → “Feedback / bug”. Pick a type, add a line or two, and say which device it concerns; the app attaches its own version so we don’t have to ask. It lands directly with the developers. Writing to the address above works just as well — either way, a short description of what you did and what happened is enough to be useful.

Press & creators

Two press kits gather the screenshots, the trailer and the facts — one per device: the Quest kit and the TV kit (Fire TV, Android TV, Chromecast). The app is free and ships with a demo playlist, so there's no review key to ask us for. Worth knowing before you record: the video wall — four sources at once — is part of the 15-day trial, which starts with an email address and no card. Without it you'll see a single screen. Questions to the address above.
